Revision: Gantt goes "Project Plan"
The Gantt chart visualizes a sequence of activities on a time axis and is an important tool in project management for planning and controlling projects. We know how much you enjoy working with it and have therefore made the PROAD Gantt view even better. It is now called "Project Plan" and shines in new splendor with numerous new functions.

Goodbye Gantt, hello Project Plan: We have equipped the popular Gantt view with new features and also redesigned its look. You can now find the tool on the "Project Plan" tab. Want a quick overview?
The brand-new PROAD Project Plan
The main functions are briefly described in the animated gif we have created:

NEW: Multi-project view
Similar to the previous Gantt view, the new project planning also includes a multi-project display. To display the planning for several projects in one view, simply select the desired projects in the project list and then select the entry "Open project plan" from the function menu. The planning then opens in the maximized view and shows all selected projects. By the way, the multi-project view can also be called from various other contexts in PROAD, e.g. at the clients and at the prospects.

NEW: Modify multiple elements simultaneously
In order to enable fast and efficient project planning, we have also integrated the multi-edit functionality known from the list views into the project plan. To use the function, simply select several elements of the same type (tasks, tickets, phases, milestones) and select "Edit" from the function menu. In the layer, the allowed fields can now be adjusted for all selected elements at the same time.

NEW: Duplicate or split tasks
Duplicating or splitting tasks was already available in the To-Do dialogs in PROAD. Now we have also integrated this function into the new project plan. To duplicate, simply select a task and then select the menu entry "Duplicate/Split" in the function menu of the project plan. You can then specify the number of duplicates to be created in the layer. Done. Splitting works in the same way, except that you have to activate the checkbox in the layer so that the planned effort and the remaining effort are distributed among the duplicates and the total effort remains the same.

NEW: Display of order and delivery date
You have already agreed the key project data with your client and would now like to plan the project within this timeframe? No problem: In the new project plan, PROAD now displays the order and delivery dates so that you can plan your phases, tasks, tickets and milestones so that the agreed delivery date can be met.
