Bang on 100: Year-end rally at PROAD
Did you hear the crazy motivational speech by Steve Ballmer at a developer conference in 2008? You know, I LOVE THIS COMPANY!
That’s how I, Stefan Dörrstein, feel right now again: I LOVE THIS COMPANY! But enough of hymns of praise, let’s get to the facts: 2015 was the most successful year in the history of the J + D Software AG. Our sales team, under the aegis of my colleague Reiner Schymitzek, won around 100 new customers for our PROAD Sky agency software - including prominent names such as Rewe Digital GmbH - the 300-strong german agency bundles all online activities of the trading Group. Or M Media & Design the agency for graphic and website design from Teesside (UK), the Dubai advertising agency Nebula Advertising and LRCD Ltd. based in Guernsey (UK). At this point many thanks for the trust placed in us!
Our new browser-based solution PROAD Sky is developing into a growth driver: Not only did new customers opt in unison for the offer in 2015. Existing customers also saddled increasingly from our classic PROAD Professional to its successor, which scores with a modern user interface and further advanced functionality.
The second pillar of growth this year was internationalisation: ten per cent of our total sales are now achieved in foreign markets – in particular England, Asia and the Middle East - the regions which are managed by our London branch. In practice, we often win over the new markets together with our domestic customers.
So, as far as I’m concerned, 2016 can gladly continue on the same wave. I’m aiming to greet my 1,000th customer by then at the latest! Even now we’re casting our eye to the year 2018: It is our 30th anniversary.
